ToneForge ("we", "our", or "us") operates the ToneForge platform, an AI-powered voice studio. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information when you use our service at www.wtoneforge.com.

• Account information: Email address and hashed password when you register.
• Usage data: Text inputs submitted for speech synthesis, selected voices, generation history, and subscription plan.
• Audio data: Voice samples you upload or record for the Voice Clone feature. These are transmitted to ElevenLabs for processing and are subject to ElevenLabs' own privacy policy.
• Technical data: IP address, browser type, and timestamps collected automatically via server logs.

• To authenticate you and manage your account.
• To generate AI audio via ElevenLabs APIs on your behalf.
• To maintain your generation history and saved voices.
• To enforce plan limits (free vs. Pro) and detect abuse.
• To improve and maintain the ToneForge service.
• To send transactional emails (e.g., account-related notifications).

We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

ToneForge uses ElevenLabs to power all speech generation, voice cloning, and voice design. Text, audio samples, and voice prompts you submit are sent to ElevenLabs servers and processed under their Privacy Policy. Please review it before submitting sensitive audio.

We may also use services such as Stripe for payment processing. Stripe handles payment card data directly; we do not store card numbers.

We retain your account and generation history for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us at [email protected].

Voice samples sent to ElevenLabs are subject to ElevenLabs' data retention policies.

ToneForge uses a single HTTP-only authentication cookie to keep you signed in. We do not use tracking cookies or third-party advertising cookies.

We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed passwords (bcrypt), and HTTP-only session cookies. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

ToneForge is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us so we can delete it.
